本教程 & Academic Skills Center (TASC) provides free tutoring for all students
提交 tutor request form to schedule a tutoring appointment. If your class schedule conflicts with the tutoring times or if you don't see your class listed, fill out the form and we will work to accommodate your request.
也, TASC offers a variety of support services and programs that assists students who are experiencing academic difficulties and/or are placed on probation. You can find a complete list of resources and programs at the bottom of this page.
Programs offered through TASC are intended to complement study efforts. We urge you to take advantage of these and other campus resources to maximize your opportunities for success.

Tutors are SMC students with at least a 3.0 (B) GPA in the subject(s) they tutor. Selection of tutors is based on their strong academic record, faculty recommendations, completion of tutor training, 和面试. Every effort is made to attract tutors who are sensitive and have strong interpersonal skills.
If you are a current veteran student, there are additional tutoring resources availble to you from the VA.

The Marie Curie 干细胞中心 offers support on a regular basis for Math and Science tutoring and assistance throughout each semester. These sessions support all math and science courses offered at SMC, located in Assumption 200.
Individual assistance and workshops are offered for students to complement their study efforts by exploring techniques and strategies in areas such as goal setting, 时间管理, 做笔记, 考试, information processing, 内存, and reading comprehension. Schedule a meeting with your Success Coach today!
